🎮 Gameplay

A pattern of coloured dots appears briefly on a grid - watch carefully, then recreate it from memory by tapping the correct positions. Each level increases in difficulty with larger grids, more dots, and shorter display times. Aim for accuracy to build your combo multiplier and earn bonus points.
Point Recall has five difficulty tiers: Very Easy (4×4 grid, 1 colour), Easy (5×5 grid), Medium (6×6 grid, multi-colour), Hard (7×7 grid, faster display), and Expert (8×8 grid, 4 colours, very short display time). The game uses Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment - you advance after 100% accuracy on 3 consecutive attempts.
There are four power-ups available during gameplay:

👁️ ViewTime -Extra View time to remember the pattern.
🐌 PlayTime - Extra Play time to recreate the pattern.
💡 Hint - Reveals one correct dot position on the grid.
⏭️ Skip - Skips the current pattern entirely.
❤️ Life - Extra life to carry on plying when you fail the level.
🐸 Jump - Jump to next level without looking any points.
🐇️ Spring - Jump 4 levels without looking any points.
🦌️ Leap - Jump 8 levels without looking any points.

Power-ups will unlock when you reach level 10. Selected the power-up before you start the game ViewTime and PlayTime will be activated for whole game. Tap the power-up icon during the recall phase to activate it. Power-ups are earned through gameplay, daily challenges and monthly challenges.

🏆 Ranks & Progress

There are four progression ranks:

🌱 Novice - Levels 1-20
🏗️ Apprentice - Levels 21-40
Master - Levels 41-60
🔮 GrandMaster - Level 61 and beyond

Each rank reflects a genuine improvement in your visual memory and pattern recognition ability.
Your score is based on four components: Base Points (1 × base, 2 x second, 3 x third and 4 x fourth colour point recalled), a Time Bonus for completing the recalls under 10s, Stage Bonus points for completing a pattern in certern stage, and a Combo Multiplier of up to 1.5× for consecutive correct answers. Missing a pattern resets your combo, so consistency is key to a high score.

📅 Daily & Monthly Challenges

Each day you receive 3 passive challenges that complete automatically as you play - no extra effort needed. They rotate across three types: Play-based (play a number of patterns), Accuracy-based (achieve a target accuracy), and Score-based (earn a target score). Challenges reset at midnight and reward 350–650 coins per day.
Monthly challenges are a set of 96 progressive milestones spanning the entire month, grouped into five difficulty tiers (Very Easy → Expert). Each challenge has a specific focus - earning a target score, completing patterns within a time limit, or completing multi-colour patterns. Completing all 96 challenges earns a grand prize of 5,000 coins, 10 power-ups, and an exclusive badge.

Tips & Tricks

Simple strategies to sharpen your memory and climb the ranks.

1

Scan in a pattern, not randomly

When the dots appear, scan the grid in a consistent order - top-left to bottom-right, or row by row. This turns a random scatter into a structured sequence your brain can hold more easily.

2

Group dots into shapes

Instead of remembering individual positions, look for shapes - an L, a diagonal, a cluster. Chunking dots into recognisable forms dramatically reduces memory load.

3

Use colour as an anchor

On multi-colour patterns, remember one colour at a time. Mentally say "green top-left, blue centre" as you scan. Colour gives your memory an extra hook to hang positions on.

4

Save power-ups for Expert levels

Power-ups are most valuable on 7×7 and 8×8 grids with 4 colours. Resist using Peek or Hint on easier patterns - bank them for when the display time drops to 4–5 seconds.

5

Short daily sessions beat long ones

Research shows visual memory improves most with consistent short practice (10–15 minutes daily) rather than occasional long sessions. The daily challenges are designed exactly for this rhythm.

6

Don't rush the recall phase

The time bonus is real, but accuracy matters more for your combo multiplier. A perfect recall at 80% time remaining beats a rushed wrong answer every time. Breathe, recall, then tap.
